Creative Arts Department Team Leader
Drive the creative vision of The Commons and The Salt Company
Develop, manage and lead creative department team leaders/members
Initiate and anticipate creative opportunities that help tell the story of what God is doing in The Commons Church
Manage multiple creative projects in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Ability to incorporate direction & feedback from others into various creative projects
Champion cohesive visual identity across the organization
Proficient in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom (preferred), Premier Pro (preferred)
Photo Team
Proficient in photography and editing
Oversee photo team lead for services and various projects
Collaborate with Creative Arts Dept. members to produce content
Manage the photography and video produced by the photo team and figure out ways to creatively use on our different platforms
Graphic Design
Responsible for all of the graphic design needs of The Commons and The Salt Company (this includes sermon series identities, print materials, signage, etc…)
Able to create and present multiple concepts for various projects
Able to receive and incorporate feedback in the creative process
Communicate to website developer to maintain and update website
Social Media
Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and Salt Director to put out weekly content on social media
Develop content for social media while maintaining cohesive visual identity
The Commons Church Staff Member
Full participation in The Commons church at large
Full participation in staff related meetings/events.
Other responsibilities assigned by direct supervisor
In a sentence, your responsibility is not only to steward the creative vision of The Commons Church, but to usher in the life, beauty, and story of the Gospel through what we create, reflecting that of the ultimate Creator.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a strong graphic designer
Must be a good time manager
Must be teachable and a learner
Must have a good understanding of social media and its current trends
Must be able to manage our current website
It is preferable that this person is a strong videographer and photographer
Must be really good at working with a team
